there are a number of differences between the 243 and the 24, the 243 has a totally brushed case where as the 24 is polished with a brushed bezel. the 243 also has the 1950 case with the REG. TM. on the crown guard. the bezel is thicker on the 243 than on the 24 resulting in a smaller dial size.
