I was reading Wristwatch Annual 2008, and I keep going back to admire the Edox Class 1 GMT.has anyone had any experience with Edox? They seem to have a good history, and their Class 1 model line looks awesome---polished titanium cases, ceramic bezels, 45mm, everything I am looking for in my first Ti watch. The movement Edox has gone with for the CO-1 Carbon Chronograph Automatic is called caliber 011. It is based on a Sellita SW 500 movement, a 7750 clone. The movement beats at 4Hz and provides 48 hours of power reserve. Those that saw ChrisDeskDiver's GMT (which originally came from me) might enjoy how impressive the caseback on the Class 1 watch was. Unfortunately for this watch, the ceramic 24-hour bezel was fixed, eliminating the use of the watch to track three time zones. Like so many other brands, Edox is riding the retro wave. The two latest watches meant to catch that commercially interesting wave are the sea-worthy SkyDiver Automatic Limited Edition models in two colorways with easy-on-the-eye skin diver looks.

I own a Hydrosub and a les bemonts both are fantastic watches and on par with brands like Longines.
