I normally buy my watches from a rolex boutique which i understand are owned by Torneau right? or Bucherer i think? I've never really questioned the authenticity of an item coming out of a boutique. July 29th 2024 - Updated to include information about the new versions of the VR3235, VR3230, VR3255, and SH4131 movements which don't have the fake beat adjustor on the balance bridge anymore. These movements look VERY similar to the Dandong versions.

I think it is a fake. You haven't been given any images of the rehaut engraving to check alignment, the caseback finishing looks rougher than you would expect, and on the picture of the movment, the perlage on the bridges and where the 3135 is stamped on the movement doesn't look right. Just ordered my first Rolex from a reputable seller on chrono24. With all the Super clones I'm seeing on youtube I worry about the authenticty of the watch. I hear they are even faking the warranty cards and hang tags. Wow.
